D'Alegria is a Brazilian company specialized in handmade production of musical instruments. Using the best non-endangered wood species available in Brazil and top notch hardware, all our instruments match the highest standards of the industry.
Founded in January 2003 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil by partners Daniel Alegria and Rodrigo Werneck, D'Alegria has since then reached the markets of North America, Europe and Asia, besides of course South America where it is actually based in. After 3 years specifically producing bass guitars, in 2006 at last the first 6-string electric guitars were released, broadening the line of instruments.
With over 20 years of experience in the production of handmade musical instruments and busy activity in the Brazilian and international musical scene, D'Alegria founders Alegria and Werneck envisioned in early 2003 the opportunity of sharing with a wider audience their craftmanship and knowledge.
All musical instruments that leave the D'Alegria premises are personally manufactured, assembled and tested solely by Daniel Alegria and Rodrigo Werneck. The quality control is actually done on a one-by-one basis, assuring to each instrument the best in terms of sound, playability, performance and look.
