Cerejeira (Amburana Cearensis)
Cerejeira isa light colour wood, of medium stiffness, presenting very beautiful figures, with dark holes contrasting with its yellowish colour. It has a specific weight of about 600kg/m³. More suitable for bodies, Where helps to obtain a sound with a strong bass tone, keeping a balance with the high and mid frequencies. Since it was heavily used during the latest decades, nowadays good pieces are hard to be obtained and we can't get it on a regular basis.
